Mt. Fuji Cherry(Prunus Serrulata)

- Deciduous tree, small, 12-15´ 20 ft (3.5-4.5 ´ 6 m), spreading, horizontal branch pattern, serrated leaf, pointed. Leaves deeply serrate, teeth with
long tip. Flowers white, semi-double (single on young trees), 5.5 cm diam., 3 per pendulous cluster, produced before leaves, often turn pinkish before
petal fall.
- Sun to part shade, susceptible to insect damage. Occasionally can become very wide spreading, one tree in Wilsonville, Oregon is 50 ft (15 m) across.
- Hardy to USDA Zone 5.
